Salary: $72,000 - $85,760 a year

What you will do
- Review funding contracts to determine billing terms and reporting requirements for federal and state funding.
- Manage contract billings and monitor compliance issues impacting project operations.
- Perform quarterly reporting on Federal contracts and act as a liaison with funding agencies and subcontractors.
- Prepare project budgets, budget modifications, and contract amendments.
- Oversee subrecipient payment requests, ensuring efficiency and adherence to agreement terms.
- Maintain financial tracking across Salesforce, Excel, and Airtable while improving accounting procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 5+ years of relevant accounting experience, specifically with government contracts/grants accounting and compliance.
- Working knowledge of OMB, FAR, and other government funding regulations.
- Experience in reporting procedures related to cost accounting, government auditing, and federal/state agencies.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and document management tools like Adobe Acrobat Pro.
- Must be able to work in a hybrid capacity in Pasadena, CA.
Nice to have
- CPA or CPA candidate.
- Familiarity with Uniform Guidance (2 CFR 200) and California state cost accounting standards.
- Expertise in Sage 100/MAS90.
- Experience with Salesforce and similar platforms.
