What you will do

• Perform fabrication tasks including welding, machining, and assembly for prototypes and test fixtures.
• Install, calibrate, and troubleshoot instrumentation systems for data acquisition.
• Conduct mechanical inspections, adjustments, and repairs on vehicles and components.
• Work with product electronics, including wiring, soldering, and software flashing.
• Execute test driving protocols and document vehicle performance data.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve technical issues and maintain safety standards.

Requirements

• Must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of automotive experience
• Proven experience in fabrication techniques like welding and machining
• Strong mechanical aptitude and experience with automotive components
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics

Nice to have

• Associate's degree in a relevant technical field
• ASE or State Certified Mechanic
• Experience with BEV, HVAC, Chassis, Brake, or Powertrain systems
• CMM measurement experience
• MIG and TIG welding proficiency
