What you will do

• Establish and operate a formal pre-launch review process for all external marketing assets, including ads, landing pages, and email sequences.
• Review, annotate, and approve sales webinar scripts and one-on-one sales frameworks.
• Conduct risk assessments for current products and vet new affiliate partners and business development deals.
• Audit SMS and email marketing programs for TCPA and CAN-SPAM compliance.
• Serve as the primary internal liaison with outside legal counsel, managing budget and triaging issues.
• Develop and maintain a centralized compliance policy library and conduct training for new hires and mentors.

Requirements

• Background in compliance, legal, or risk management within FTC-regulated marketing, fintech, or direct-response marketing.
• Hands-on knowledge of FTC Endorsement Guides, TCPA, CAN-SPAM, and the Publisher’s Exemption under the Investment Advisers Act of 1940.
• Direct experience in affiliate ecosystem compliance, including monitoring claims and drafting agreements.
• Proven ability to review high-volume marketing copy, VSLs, and webinar scripts for risk.
• Ability to build compliance systems from scratch and translate legal risk into business-friendly decisions.
