What you will do

• Serve as the primary point of contact and ambassador for all guests arriving at the bureau.
• Collaborate with show anchors and producers to facilitate live news production.
• Assist booking producers and APs with daily and long-term booking projects.
• Conduct guest pre-interviews and perform research for upcoming segments.
• Utilize social media platforms for outreach and information gathering during breaking news.

Requirements

• Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States.
• Must be willing to work in Washington, DC.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• At least one year of experience in a journalism or newsroom environment.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Must be willing and able to work flexible hours, including breaking news and tight deadlines.
