What you will do

• Edit, assemble, and coordinate daily print reports while maintaining high standards of accuracy and balance.
• Collaborate with newsroom teams, the central design and pagination hub, and the pressroom.
• Monitor page production to ensure deadlines are met and page flow is optimized.
• Participate in strategic business development and implementation.
• Work with independence to plan and execute the presentation of daily news reports.
• Engage directly with readers and maintain professional relationships across departments.

Requirements

• Must be available for night shifts and flexible hours as required by staffing needs.
• Must be able to work onsite in St. Paul, Minnesota.
• At least one year of experience in a daily news operation.
• Strong news judgment with the ability to edit news and write effective headlines.
• Proficiency in newspaper technology and visual presentation analysis.
• Assertive, organized, and capable of working with a high degree of independence.
