What you will do

• Produce high-quality magazines for print and digital, including planning, editing, and layout design.
• Coordinate with freelance writers and manage the production flow of special sections.
• Post advertising content to the web and maintain publication quality standards.
• Design ads and promotional campaigns to increase reader and sales engagement.
• Participate in advertising kick-offs and sales presentations for feature launches.
• Keep up-to-date with advertising and marketing trends to improve daily operations.

Requirements

• Must reside in Colorado.
• 2-3 years of experience in advertising, marketing, publishing, or communications.
• Proficiency in InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Microsoft Word.
• Strong skills in graphic design, copywriting, copyediting, and publication layout.
• Knowledge of the commercial/newspaper printing process and AP Style.
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing or communications preferred.

Nice to have

• Web design experience (WordPress).
• Photography skills.
