What you will do

• Provide expert regulatory advice and support to Marketing and Customer teams to ensure compliant communications.
• Direct and oversee regulatory input for key initiatives, projects, and regulatory changes.
• Act as the first line of defense, balancing commercial objectives with regulatory requirements.
• Drive effective issue resolution across senior stakeholders with differing priorities.
• Model collaborative business partnering to reinforce a strong risk culture.
• Support the ongoing development and learning of the compliance function.

Requirements

• Must have deep understanding of UK financial services, specifically life products and investments.
• Proven experience in delivering or overseeing regulatory advice for customer-centric marketing communications.
• Strong people management and leadership skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
• Ability to demonstrate sound judgment and attention to detail in complex regulatory environments.
• Experience in 1st or 2nd line of defense roles within financial services.
