What you will do
- Design and scale the portfolio management framework for tax equity and preferred equity investments.
- Monitor portfolio performance against underwriting across financial, tax, and operational metrics, identifying and escalating risks.
- Execute consent requests, amendments, and restructurings with internal and external stakeholders.
- Build and enhance portfolio monitoring and reporting systems using technology and AI-enabled tools.
- Prepare investor, management, and board reporting to ensure alignment with institutional requirements.
- Ensure compliance with partnership agreements, regulatory requirements, and internal policies.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in renewable energy finance, asset management, or structured finance.
- Direct exposure to tax equity and/or preferred equity structures.
- FINRA SIE and Series 79 required (or willingness to obtain within 90 days).
- Proficiency with data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, or Python.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Must be based in the US or Canada.
Nice to have
- MBA or advanced degree.
- Experience working with institutional investors (insurance companies, pension funds, family offices).
- Prior experience at a commercial or investment bank, specifically in project finance or structured products.
