What you will do

• Research and monitor key developments in the Japanese power market.
• Improve data coverage and quality by identifying and evaluating new data sources.
• Produce actionable insights through reports, commentary, and social media content.
• Collaborate with LNG and coal teams to integrate cross-commodity views.
• Engage with clients, media, and industry stakeholders to promote market research.
• Work with commercial and product teams to articulate and address client needs.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience analyzing Asian commodity markets.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and data handling.
• Coding experience with SQL, Python, or VBA.
• Strong understanding of commodity or power markets, ideally with Japan-specific experience.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for reporting and stakeholder engagement.
• Bachelor’s degree in economics or a quantitative field.
