What you will do

• Own the end-to-end delivery of significant React features on the Zable website.
• Collaborate with product managers and designers to refine requirements and ensure technical feasibility.
• Write clean, maintainable TypeScript code following established team patterns.
• Improve site performance, responsiveness, and reliability by addressing bottlenecks.
• Mentor other engineers through code reviews and pair programming sessions.
• Enhance testing coverage with meaningful unit and integration tests.

Requirements

• Must be based in London, UK for hybrid office attendance.
• Strong experience building production-grade React applications with TypeScript.
• Understanding of modern web engineering concerns including performance, accessibility, and responsive design.
• Experience with automated testing tools such as Jest or React Testing Library.
• Ability to communicate technical complexity and trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders.
• Collaborative mindset with experience in cross-functional team environments.

Nice to have

• Experience with NextJS or similar frameworks for large-scale applications.
• Background in working on high-traffic or high-growth websites.
• Familiarity with monitoring and debugging tools like Sentry or Datadog.
