TL;DR

Frontend Engineer (React/TypeScript): Design and implement complex frontend features for financial products serving ecommerce brands with an accent on reusable components, performance, and scalability. Focus on architectural decisions, API integrations, and driving improvements in user experience and accessibility.

Location: Remote across Europe and UK (Tech org primarily remote in Europe/UK; hybrid offices in Dublin, London)

What you will do

  • Lead design and implementation of complex frontend features using TypeScript and React for scalable financial products
  • Provide technical leadership on architecture, best practices, and code quality through reviews and mentoring
  • Collaborate with product, design, and backend teams to build intuitive interfaces and robust API integrations
  • Drive platform improvements in performance, accessibility, user experience, and scalability
  • Address technical debt and contribute to team technical strategy

Requirements

  • 5+ years in software development with deep frontend expertise
  • Advanced proficiency in TypeScript, React, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and performance optimization
  • Experience with RESTful APIs, complex state management, CI/CD, and testing
  • Solid Python/Django understanding; proven mentoring and technical leadership
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Bachelor's in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent

Nice to have

  • Experience in fintech, financial services, or B2B organizations
