What you will do

• Design and develop responsive web applications using React, Next.js, and TypeScript.
• Build scalable, reusable frontend components and maintain clean, maintainable code.
• Collaborate with designers and product owners in an agile squad to polish user experiences.
• Optimize application performance, accessibility, and security.
• Monitor and improve frontend health using Sentry and PostHog.
• Mentor other developers and help define frontend standards and practices.

Requirements

• Proven experience building production-ready frontend applications.
• Strong expertise in React, Next.js, and TypeScript.
• Understanding of frontend architecture, performance, and security best practices.
• Experience with Docker and Azure deployments.
• Must be based in or able to work from the Liverpool HQ 3 days per week.
• Must have legal right to work in the UK (no visa sponsorship available).

Nice to have

• Experience with React Native.
• Knowledge of modern state management such as Redux or Zustand.
• Understanding of WCAG accessibility guidelines.
• Familiarity with web vitals and performance optimization.
