TL;DR
Senior Frontend Developer (React/TypeScript): Designing and developing modern, responsive web applications for a national insurance leader with an accent on scalable components, performance optimization, and user experience. Location: Hybrid (3 days in office) in Liverpool, UK. No visa sponsorship provided; applicants must have at least one year remaining on a Graduate or Post-Study Work visa.
Salary: £65,000–£75,000

What you will do
- Design and develop responsive web applications using React, Next.js, and TypeScript.
- Build scalable, reusable frontend components and maintain clean, maintainable code.
- Collaborate with designers and product owners in an agile squad to polish user experiences.
- Optimize application performance, accessibility, and security.
- Monitor and improve frontend health using Sentry and PostHog.
- Mentor other developers and help define frontend standards and practices.
Requirements
- Proven experience building production-ready frontend applications.
- Strong expertise in React, Next.js, and TypeScript.
- Understanding of frontend architecture, performance, and security best practices.
- Experience with Docker and Azure deployments.
- Must be based in or able to work from the Liverpool HQ 3 days per week.
- Must have legal right to work in the UK (no visa sponsorship available).
Nice to have
- Experience with React Native.
- Knowledge of modern state management such as Redux or Zustand.
- Understanding of WCAG accessibility guidelines.
- Familiarity with web vitals and performance optimization.
