What you will do

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for patients, managing inbound and outbound calls with a professional and service-oriented approach.
  • Perform professional nursing assessments and prioritize treatments based on clinical urgency.
  • Coordinate appointments and facilitate patient flow across multidisciplinary teams, including physicians and supportive care services.
  • Ensure accurate demographic and payor information is maintained within the billing system.
  • Assist non-clinical staff with clinical inquiries and identify at-risk patients for appropriate screening.
  • Collaborate with physician offices and facilities to ensure comprehensive patient care coordination.

Requirements

  • Current State of PA RN licensure or multi-state licensure through the eNLC
  • Minimum 1 year of nursing experience in a specialty area
  • Must reside within the Pittsburgh or Erie region
  • Valid CPR certification
  • Ability to obtain required background clearances (Act 33, 34, and 73)
  • High School Diploma or GED

Nice to have

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
  • 1 year of experience in Emergency Room or ICU settings
  • 1 year of experience in adult medicine or surgery
  • 1 year of experience in a call center or telehealth environment
  • Certification in a relevant area of expertise
