What you will do

• Manage timely and accurate submission of benchmarking data on a monthly or quarterly basis following published guidelines.
• Coordinate with facility and department leaders to ensure key data elements for comparison groups are current.
• Serve as the primary contact for department managers, onboarding them to benchmarking roles and providing report training.
• Liaise with external system vendors and network with peer hospitals to stay current on industry best practices.
• Collaborate with IT to ensure data extracts and feeds are produced and submitted accurately.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business administration, hospital operations, or 6 years of relevant experience.
• 5 years of experience in benchmarking, decision support, or financial reporting.
• 5 years of experience in data analysis and presentation.
• 5 years of experience in the healthcare industry, specifically within clinical or hospital settings.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Ability to manipulate large datasets to support business needs.

Nice to have

• Master's degree (MBA, MIS, or related field).
• Technical certifications in SQL, Tableau, or Alteryx.
• HFMA certifications (CHFP, CSAF, or CSBI).
• Certification in healthcare benchmarking systems (e.g., Vizient).
• Experience in Project Management.
