DevOps Engineering Manager

What you will do

• Lead the DevOps function and drive the evolution of infrastructure, automation, and deployment practices to support rapid product delivery.
• Oversee and mentor a team of DevOps engineers and architects, providing technical oversight and people leadership.
• Create and execute a strategic DevOps roadmap aligned with business and engineering objectives.
• Design and manage end-to-end CI/CD pipelines integrating source control, artifact management, automated testing, and security gates.
• Own vendor relationships for key platforms such as GitLab and JFrog Artifactory, including roadmap reviews and escalation management.
• Ensure operational excellence and compliance with corporate standards and regulations (SOX, SSP, DIACAP, etc.).

Requirements

• Must be a US Citizen.
• Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Computer Science, or a closely related discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in a leadership or mentoring role leading engineers in complex, hybrid on-prem and cloud environments.
• Deep hands-on expertise with GitLab CI/CD for pipeline design and release orchestration.
• Expertise in JFrog Artifactory (including Curation and XRay) for software supply-chain governance.
• Strong proficiency in Ansible, container orchestration (OpenShift, Kubernetes, Docker), and scripting (Python, YAML, Bash).

Nice to have

• Master’s Degree in IT or Computer Science.
• Experience scaling SaaS platforms.
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, or FedRAMP.
• Experience managing multi-region or global infrastructure.
