What you will do

• Develop well-designed, testable, and efficient code for a fleet of Java/Spring Boot microservices.
• Build and support functionalities for the Xplor Pay payment gateway.
• Collaborate with Product Owners and Business Analysts throughout the entire software development lifecycle.
• Participate in technical design discussions and contribute to architectural decisions.
• Maintain unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure system reliability.
• Participate in 2-week on-call rotations to support the production environment.

Requirements

• 1 to 5 years of experience developing Java-based web applications in an agile/SCRUM environment.
• Foundational knowledge of Spring framework, Spring Boot, Junit, Maven, and RabbitMQ.
• Experience with distributed system architecture, RESTful services, and SQL databases.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the USA (no visa sponsorship available).
• Proficiency with Visual Studio Code.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with payment gateways.
• Knowledge of JavaScript, Angular, or Mobile development.
• Experience with NoSQL databases.
• Experience working in a CI/CD environment.
• Usage of AI tools like GitHub Copilot in the development process.
