Software Engineer (Java)

Location: Must be based in Chandler, AZ (Hybrid: 3 days onsite / 2 days remote)

What you will do

• Write, test, and debug Java code for backend applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new features.
• Maintain and improve existing application codebases.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure quality and best practices.
• Work with databases, APIs, and backend technologies.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and technical issues.

Requirements

• 4+ years of software engineering experience.
• Must be eligible for W2 employment (No C2C).
• Proficiency in Java and object-oriented programming.
• Understanding of relational databases and SQL.
• Experience with version control systems like Git.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.

Nice to have

• Experience with Spring or Hibernate frameworks.
• Exposure to HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience with Maven or Gradle.
• Familiarity with JUnit for unit testing.
• Experience with API and backend integrations.
