AI Workflow Engineer (Healthcare)

AI Workflow Engineer (AI/LLM): Designing and operationalizing AI-enabled workflows to improve efficiency and outcomes for a large health plan with an accent on generative AI and agent-based tools. Focus on building responsible AI systems, integrating LLMs into enterprise processes, and optimizing healthcare delivery.

Location: Remote (US). Final interviews will take place in-person at headquarters in Chattanooga, TN. Candidates living in CA, NY, NJ, NH or MA cannot be hired.

What you will do

• Design, build, and operationalize AI-enabled workflows and agent-based tools.
• Configure prompts, test agent behaviors, and validate complex workflows.
• Execute coding tasks, model configurations, and data preparation using Python.
• Utilize cloud environments, specifically GCP Vertex AI, for AI development.
• Participate in innovation sessions to explore new AI capabilities and tools.
• Maintain clear documentation of technical progress and findings.

Requirements

• Must be based in the USA (excluding CA, NY, NJ, NH, and MA).
• Must be able to attend final interviews in-person in Chattanooga, TN.
• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field, Computer Science, Analytics, or related discipline.
• Experience with Generative AI, LLMs, and/or agent-based tools.
• Proficiency in Python and familiarity with AI/ML concepts.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for technical documentation.

Nice to have

• Experience building AI workflows within regulated industries, especially healthcare.
• Background in enterprise-wide AI transformation.
• Relevant internships or academic research in AI and Data Science.
