What you will do

• Own the end-to-end CMS integration product strategy, roadmap, and long-term vision for federal systems connectivity.
• Define API design standards including RESTful contracts, OAuth 2.0, and SMART on FHIR authentication.
• Translate CMS regulatory updates and federal interoperability mandates into actionable engineering requirements.
• Design reusable integration frameworks and connectors to streamline client onboarding and reduce customization.
• Oversee EDI and batch integration requirements for claims, enrollment, and provider data workflows.
• Partner with engineering and QA to ensure certification, testing, and observability standards for all integrations.

Requirements

• 5+ years of product management experience in healthcare IT, payer systems, or federal healthcare integrations.
• Hands-on experience with CMS systems such as CMS Data Services Hub, MARx, HPMS, or PECOS.
• Deep knowledge of FHIR R4, US Core standards, and Da Vinci Implementation Guides.
• Solid understanding of HIPAA X12 EDI transaction sets and CMS batch data exchange processes.
• Experience defining API products including RESTful design and versioning strategies.
• Must be based in the United States.

• Familiarity with integration platforms like MuleSoft, Azure API Management, or AWS API Gateway.
• Background in healthcare payer systems, interoperability, or regulatory compliance.
