TL;DR

Junior Enterprise Architect (Application Architecture): Supporting the Enterprise Architecture function by managing the application landscape, portfolio, and architectural artefacts with an accent on aligning technology strategy with business goals. Focus on maintaining the architecture repository, monitoring emerging technologies like AI, and conducting options appraisals for new services.

Location: Hybrid (Must be based in the UK, 1 day per week in London office)

What you will do

• Maintain and promote adoption of enterprise architecture policies, standards, and guidelines.
• Manage and improve the architecture repository, ensuring assets are reused and modified as needed.
• Monitor emerging technologies and products, specifically focusing on AI and sustainability.
• Contribute to technology roadmaps and the assessment of new products and services.
• Develop application strategies by aligning business needs with IT capabilities and future requirements.
• Review new applications to identify constraints, costs, and risks, escalating non-compliance.

Requirements

• Previous experience within the architecture domain.
• Knowledge of platform-based architecture, data modelling, MDM, data governance, and API architecture.
• Experience supporting systems of record and maintaining accurate records.
• Ability to align technology strategy with business missions using architectural models and roadmaps.
• Experience in managing business demand for new or changed services.
• Unable to provide visa sponsorship for this vacancy.
