What you will do

• Execute and maintain contracts for a force of independent delivery carriers.
• Monitor and ensure contracted drivers meet established performance and service standards.
• Optimize home delivery distribution routes and negotiate contractor rates to control expenses.
• Manage customer retention by resolving subscriber issues and evaluating service quality.
• Drive circulation growth through the implementation of route-based promotions.
• Perform delivery duties on routes when necessary.

Requirements

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to analyze spreadsheets, maps, and legal contracts.
• Proven experience in sales or customer service.
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Must be available for shift work, including early mornings and some weekends.
• Must pass a full pre-employment background check and MVR.
