Field Service Engineer (Mechanical Seals)

What you will do

• Plan and conduct customer visits to provide technical support and assess equipment applications.
• Review operating conditions, select products, and support techno-commercial proposals and customer projects.
• Collect field data, prepare dimensional and General Arrangement drawings, and coordinate drawing reviews and engineering approvals.
• Create and update GPN and BOM records in coordination with the Data Team.
• Supervise or perform equipment installation, commissioning, inspections, diagnostics, failure analysis, and warranty follow-up.
• Deliver technical training and support key accounts in coordination with commercial, manufacturing, quality, and regional engineering teams.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience as an applications engineer.
• Advanced knowledge of mechanical seals and seal support systems.
• Knowledge of centrifugal and positive-displacement pumps, centrifugal compressors, dry gas seals, and their auxiliary or control systems.
• Experience with vibration monitoring equipment, thermography tools, vibration analysis, and related diagnostic technologies.
• Advanced Spanish and intermediate to advanced English proficiency required.
