What you will do

• Manage all aspects of hirify.global Serbia Accounting, including accurate and timely monthly reporting and annual financial statements.
• Lead the delivery of local and global finance initiatives and ensure compliance with global policies.
• Maintain relationships with local auditors, authorities, and senior management.
• Oversee local compliance matters and coordinate with external advisors and authorities.
• Act as a key point of contact towards local authorities and support smooth communication with regulatory bodies.
• Work in close cooperation with other local teams to ensure local financial matters are properly supported and addressed.

Requirements

• Extensive experience as a chartered accountant with local statutory accounting and tax compliance.
• Solid background in relevant local bookkeeping or accounting roles, preferably from a multinational company.
• Masters degree in accounting or CPA / ACCA, or equivalent experience.
• Chartered Accountant Certification with active license.
• Excellent MS Excel skills.
• Fluent in Serbian and English: B2+ required, both spoken and written.

Nice to have

• Experience with IFRS is an advantage.
• Prior experience in NetSuite is an advantage.
