Junior Payable Accountant Specialist

Location: Hybrid (Belgrade, Serbia or Porto, Portugal). Must be based in or able to work from these locations.

What you will do

• Process accounts payable invoices ensuring proper coding and VAT compliance.
• Manage end-to-end expense management processes and timely reporting.
• Post expense and payable transactions in the ERP system.
• Prepare intercompany recharges and intercompany invoicing.
• Oversee corporate credit card management and reconciliations.
• Execute payment runs and act as a point of contact for internal departments.

Requirements

• English proficiency required (CV and cover letter must be in English).
• 1-3 years of professional experience in a similar accounting role.
• Strong affinity for IT systems, specifically ERP and Microsoft Excel.
• Commercial training or relevant accounting education.
• Ability to work independently and maintain composure in hectic situations.
• German language skills are considered an advantage.
