Accountant

TL;DR

Accountant: Independently handle day-to-day accounting tasks including sales invoicing, purchase processing, tax compliance, and financial reporting with an accent on maintaining accurate books and ensuring regulatory compliance. Focus on reconciliations, month-end closures, payment processing, and audit support.

Location: Hybrid from Warsaw office 3 days a week

What you will do

• Verify, issue, and book sales invoices; manage returns, corrections, and customer reconciliations.
• Process purchase invoices, handle cost accruals, and reconcile vendor statements.
• Verify business trip settlements, process credit card transactions, and manage fixed assets including depreciation.
• Support tax declarations (VAT, CIT), EU reporting (VIES, Intrastat), and month/year-end closures.
• Prepare payment proposals, monitor bank movements, and reconcile statements.
• Organize financial documents and assist with audits and tax advisors.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting, including at least 1 year in a similar role
• Degree in Finance and Accounting
• Knowledge of accounting and tax regulations
• Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel) and ERP systems (e.g., FK Symfonia, Netsuite)
• Fluent Polish and at least B2 English
• Availability to work from Warsaw office 3 days a week
• High accuracy, analytical thinking, team-oriented mindset

• Experience with FK Symfonia accounting software
