Virtualization Backup Engineer (Italian Speaker)

What you will do

• Perform deep troubleshooting and log file investigation for hirify.global Backup and Replication (VBR) solutions.
• Act as a primary technical focal point for IT professionals to resolve challenging technical issues.
• Take full ownership of support cases from inception to resolution, troubleshooting both hirify.global and 3rd party components from Microsoft and VMware.
• Analyze whether issues are caused by software defects or misconfigurations and provide break/fix solutions.
• Document all customer interactions accurately and within SLA in the CRM tool.

Requirements

• Fluent Italian & English (reading, writing, speaking).
• Advanced administrative experience with Windows Server (2016, 2019, 2022, 2025) and Windows 10/11.
• Practical knowledge of TCP/IP, firewall configuration, and networking troubleshooting (NAT, ports, DHCP, DNS).
• Must be permanently located in the Czech Republic.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage time effectively.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of UNIX and/or Linux.
• Experience with VMware ESX(i) or Microsoft Hyper-V.
• Microsoft Exchange server administration experience.
• Familiarity with database engines such as SQL or Oracle.
