What you will do

• Manage monthly payroll for Shanghai and Hong Kong offices, ensuring accuracy through detailed variance reports and bank files.
• Administer the full suite of employee benefits, including commercial insurance, flexible platforms, and leave policies.
• Manage expatriate tax equalization, split-payroll arrangements, and coordinate cross-border social security certificates.
• Ensure full compliance with China and Hong Kong regulations regarding social security, housing funds, and MPF.
• Optimize leave policy frameworks and lead data cleansing for potential future HRIS/payroll system implementation.
• Coordinate with finance, HR, external payroll agencies, and benefit brokers to ensure smooth operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Finance, Business, or a related field.
• 5-7 years of experience in C&B or payroll, preferably covering both Hong Kong and mainland China.
• Deep knowledge of China statutory benefits, IIT computation, and Hong Kong Employment Ordinance/MPF.
• Advanced Excel expertise in building dynamic models for tax calculations and cost simulations.
• Strong analytical skills to transform raw payroll data into headcount and cost reports for leadership.
• Good command of English and Chinese, both written and spoken.
