Senior Account Executive - Commercial Lines Insurance

Location: 5990 Sepulveda Boulevard, Tri-Center Plaza, Van Nuys, CA 91411, United States of America; remote and hybrid work are indicated.

Base salary: $84,700–$180,800 annually. The role may also include performance-based incentives.

What you will do

• Build and maintain effective client relationships through email, phone contact, meetings, and regular communication.
• Act as the day-to-day liaison between insurance companies and designated accounts.
• Address coverage questions and issues, resolve or assist with claims matters, and respond to client inquiries within 24 hours.
• Analyze contracts, exposures, coverage gaps, exclusions, and client requirements; design or assist in designing insurance plans.
• Manage endorsements, policy changes, formal proposals, policy checking and binding, renewals, and account processes in line with Standard Operating Guidelines.
• Support new business development, cross-selling, client presentations, satisfaction reviews, and communication of strategic account issues to the Producer.

Requirements

• Current California Department of Insurance License.
• 5–10 years of experience in Commercial Lines insurance.
• High school diploma required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Ability to use a computer keyboard, office machinery, fax and copy machines, and telephones.
• Ability to sit in a stationary position for extended periods.
• Ability to work in a typical interior or office environment and conduct face-to-face client meetings.
