What you will do
- Act as a strategic sales coach for inside sales representatives to improve selling skills and pipeline management.
- Design and deliver a structured sales training curriculum covering products, ICPs, and competitive positioning.
- Conduct call observations and role-play sessions to provide actionable feedback and increase win outcomes.
- Utilize AI tools and modern sales technology to optimize workflows and scale coaching impact.
- Partner cross-functionally with Marketing and Product teams to share frontline insights and strengthen product-market fit.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in inside sales, sales leadership, or sales training, including direct experience exceeding an individual quota.
- Proven experience leading and developing high-performing sales teams in high-volume environments.
- Deep understanding of consultative sales methodologies, objection handling, and value-based selling.
- Ability to analyze sales performance data and implement structured improvement plans.
- High proficiency with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) and AI-driven sales tools.
- Must be able to work in a hybrid setup in San Diego, California.
Nice to have
- Experience in healthcare technology, SaaS, or subscription-based sales.
- Background in building formal sales training or enablement programs from the ground up.
- Experience developing sales playbooks, scripts, and onboarding programs.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, or a related field.
