What you will do

• Support the Head of Department and Compliance Lead to ensure full compliance with laws, regulations, and AEO standards.
• Organize, create, and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to AEO requirements.
• Perform monthly file audits to maintain AEO accreditation and ensure quality standards.
• Maintain the Power of Attorney (POA) database in accordance with HMRC requirements.
• Advise internal departments and customers on international import/export requirements and new UK processes.
• Escalate material issues to management and contribute to internal and customer meetings.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of international tariff coding and classification procedures.
• Ability to monitor and communicate changes in regulatory legislation effectively.
• Capability to perform responsibilities autonomously and use initiative for problem resolution.
• Must be based in the UK to support local customs activities.
