What you will do

• Act as the primary contact for clients and carriers regarding RFP review, preparation, and implementation of new plans.
• Analyze utilization reports, carrier data, and claims trends to provide technical advice.
• Coordinate COBRA, HIPAA, and 5500 data requirements.
• Guide and mentor Benefit Analysts in gathering census data and preparing materials for renewals and open enrollments.
• Conduct employee open enrollment meetings to communicate benefit options.
• Collaborate with Client Executive Services to resolve E&O concerns and develop proactive solutions for client dissatisfaction.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in group health and benefits sales or service at a brokerage or carrier.
• Valid unrestricted Life and Disability License in California.
• Valid driver’s license and dependable transportation for travel to client sites.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas), Word, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to provide non-technical explanations of complex insurance matters.
• Bachelor's degree strongly preferred.
