What you will do

• Design and develop data platforms to support strategic decision-making and innovation.
• Build and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines to cleanse, normalize, and transform raw data into refined datasets.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate project objectives into technical data requirements.
• Identify and resolve data quality issues to ensure the availability of pristine data.
• Manage the full data lifecycle to maintain the freshness and impact of datasets.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering or related roles.
• Strong expertise in SQL and data modeling techniques.
• Proficiency in Python or Scala for data processing.
• Experience working with relational and NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with Git for version control and CI/CD pipelines.
• Must be based in Mexico City for a hybrid work arrangement.

Nice to have

• Experience within the financial services or banking sector.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift.
• Familiarity with orchestration tools like Apache Airflow and frameworks like Apache Spark.
