What you will do

• Craft efficient, testable, and secure code for scalable applications.
• Ensure software security through SCA and drive remediation efforts.
• Manage project tracking, estimation, and technical documentation.
• Collaborate with engineers, designers, and managers to solve user pain points.
• Take ownership of projects from technical design through to successful launch.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain high quality and consistency.

Requirements

• Must be based in Mexico
• 4+ years of professional experience with Python, REST API, and SQL.
• Proficiency with Git and unit testing using Pytest.
• Experience in engineering software systems of medium-to-large scope.
• Intermediate design proficiency using UML, C4, or ArchiMate.
• English proficiency required

Nice to have

• Experience with Python web frameworks like Flask.
• Knowledge of workflow orchestration tools like Apache Airflow.
• Familiarity with AI coding agents and SCA platforms.
• Understanding of HTTP protocols and serialization formats.
