Focus on defining metrics once and ensuring consistency across the business while implementing data governance and quality at scale.

What you will do

  • Design, build, and deploy scalable ETL/ELT pipelines from diverse source systems into Snowflake.
  • Manage and optimize data flows in AWS (S3, Lambda, IAM) with a focus on availability, security, and cost-efficiency.
  • Use Databricks and Python (PySpark) to perform complex transformations and high-volume processing.
  • Implement and scale the Semantic Layer to standardize business logic, metrics, and dimensions for downstream consumers.
  • Build modular, version-controlled, and tested dbt data models as the definitive foundation for BI.
  • Implement automated testing and monitoring to ensure data mart integrity and reliability.

Requirements

  • Expert proficiency in Snowflake (clustering, Snowpipe, streams, and tasks) or a comparable cloud data warehouse.
  • Advanced dbt and complex SQL transformation skills, including experience with semantic models and metric definitions.
  • Strong Python skills and hands-on experience with Databricks for Spark-based orchestration.
  • Practical experience managing data workloads within AWS.
  • Deep understanding of Git-based workflows and CI/CD for data.
  • Passion for data governance and reducing metric drift across the organization.
