Director, Advocacy & Influence (Marketing): Leading Bentley’s strategy for customer advocacy, influencer engagement, and champion activation across the infrastructure ecosystem with an accent on turning authentic voices into business impact. Focus on scaling the customer voice engine, managing the Year in Infrastructure Awards, and cultivating high-value influencer relationships.

Location: Remote or Hybrid (Pennsylvania, US). Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future employer sponsorship.

What you will do

  • Lead the customer advocacy strategy, identifying and activating champions from practitioners to executive stakeholders.
  • Own and manage the Year in Infrastructure (YII) Awards program as a year-round advocacy platform.
  • Shape influencer and brand ambassador strategies to increase trust and market visibility across key audiences.
  • Develop co-marketing opportunities with strategic accounts and partners to elevate shared success stories.
  • Collaborate with the Chief Storyteller and cross-functional teams to surface customer proof points for narrative development.
  • Establish processes, workflows, and KPIs to make advocacy scalable and measurable.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in customer advocacy, customer marketing, community, or influencer programs.
  • Proven experience leading and managing a small team.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
  • Strong expertise in customer storytelling, speaking programs, and external activation.
  • Ability to operate effectively within a matrixed organization.
  • Strong relationship-oriented approach and energy for working with users and influencers.

Nice to have

  • Experience with B2C-style community, ambassador, or loyalty programs and the ability to translate them into a B2B context.
