State and Local Tax - Income and Franchise Senior Associate (Finance)

Salary: $101,200 – $129,030

What you will do

• Run client engagements from start to finish, including planning, executing, directing, and managing to budget.
• Supervise, train, and mentor associates and interns on tax projects and assess staff performance.
• Deliver SALT services including tax return preparation, research, and drafting technical memorandums.
• Conduct multi-disciplinary, multi-state reviews to identify optimal filing options, exemptions, and credits.
• Prepare complex State & Local Income/Franchise Tax returns.
• Respond to inquiries from the IRS and other tax authorities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• 2 to 6 years of progressive tax compliance and/or tax consulting experience.
• CPA, JD, or Certified Member of the Institute for Professionals in Taxation preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong analytical skills.
• Ability to travel as needed.
