Salary: $235,000 - $350,000 per year

What you will do

• Define and execute the engineering strategy aligned with company objectives and product vision.
• Lead, mentor, and develop engineering managers and senior technical staff to foster a high-performance culture.
• Oversee the delivery of complex, large-scale projects ensuring quality, security, and operational excellence.
• Collaborate with Product, Security, and Business stakeholders to prioritize initiatives and allocate resources.
• Establish and monitor KPIs for engineering effectiveness and team health.
• Represent the engineering organization in executive forums, communicating progress, risks, and opportunities.

Requirements

• Must be based in or be able to work from Sunnyvale, CA; New York, NY; or Austin, TX
• Demonstrated ability to lead at scale, managing multiple teams or departments.
• Deep expertise in engineering management, technical architecture, and operational excellence.
• Experience building cybersecurity products within a SaaS environment.
• Strong communication skills and executive presence for stakeholder management.
• Proven track record of delivering business impact through technology.

Nice to have

• 15+ years of engineering experience, with 5+ years in senior leadership roles.
• Experience building distributed systems processing events at millions/sec scale.
• Hands-on experience with Machine Learning, Data Science, or shipping LLM-native features.
• Experience transforming teams into AI-first software development organizations.
• Experience with hybrid cloud environments.
