What you will do

• Support accounts payable through invoice processing, vendor data entry, and payment tracking.
• Perform bank and account reconciliations under senior analyst guidance.
• Assist in monthly period-close by preparing working papers and supporting schedules.
• Post and verify journal entries in NetSuite.
• Support budgeting and forecasting by pulling data, updating models, and tracking variances.
• Identify and automate repetitive finance workflows using AI tools and prompt engineering.

Requirements

• Enrolled in a Bachelor's program in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field (2nd year or above preferred).
• Proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables, lookups, and basic modelling.
• Familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT and Claude.
• Must be based in Toronto, Ontario for hybrid work during regular business hours.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with NetSuite ERP systems.
• Experience building AI agents or workflow automations.
