What you will do

• Design end-to-end technical architectures across Education, Experience, Marketing, and Data Clouds.
• Architect and govern the Salesforce 'Virtual Data Lake' to provide a 360-degree view of the student journey.
• Produce Salesforce Technical Design Documents (TDDs), solution diagrams, and architecture artifacts.
• Lead technical fit-gap analyses to determine the optimal placement of institutional capabilities.
• Provide technical oversight and audit deliverables from external implementation partners to prevent technical debt.
• Drive innovation through pilots and proofs of value for Salesforce AI and Data Cloud.

Requirements

• Minimum 9-10 years of experience in enterprise IT delivery and architecture.
• At least 7 years of experience designing and leading large-scale Salesforce implementations.
• Required Certification: Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA) or Salesforce Application/System Architect.
• Advanced expertise in OmniStudio, Flow, Apex, and Lightning Web Components (LWC).
• Strong understanding of Salesforce integration patterns and API-led design.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and release governance.

Nice to have

• Certifications: Salesforce Education Cloud Consultant, Data Cloud Consultant, or Agentforce Specialist.
• Experience working within higher education or the public sector.
