What you will do

• Lead platform architecture, strategy, and technical initiatives for the Salesforce-based Vertex Connects Portal.
• Create, analyze, and validate detailed architectural and technical specifications for CGT systems.
• Develop strategic roadmaps to meet long-term capability needs for Commercial and Supply Chain business groups.
• Manage the end-to-end lifecycle for regulated CGT platforms, ensuring high standards of quality and GxP compliance.
• Define and optimize the DevOps framework and manage the CI/CD pipeline across teams.
• Coach colleagues and lead onshore/offshore managed service providers to ensure high-quality delivery.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, software engineering, or a related technology degree.
• 5+ years of relevant experience with strong functional/technical knowledge of Salesforce platforms.
• Experience with GxP systems, 21 CFR Part 11 validation, and security requirements (Disaster Recovery, Data Retention).
• Proven track record of leading teams within an Agile framework across multiple business units.
• Experience working with SaaS solutions and managing software vendors.
• Must be based in or able to work from Boston, MA.

Nice to have

• Experience with Own Backup, Bartender, and Salesforce Life Sciences Cloud.
• Direct experience in Cell and Gene Therapy (CGT) technology.
