What you will do

• Collect, clean, and preprocess healthcare datasets to prepare them for modeling and reporting.
• Build, evaluate, and validate statistical and machine learning models using Python.
• Perform feature engineering and selection to identify relevant predictors from raw clinical data.
• Conduct exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies in operational datasets.
• Apply foundational statistical methods including regression, classification, and clustering to surface actionable insights.
• Document analytical processes, model assumptions, and findings thoroughly.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Math, or CS with 2 years of experience, OR Master’s degree with 1 year of experience.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL for data querying, manipulation, and analytical modeling.
• Foundational knowledge of statistical analysis and common modeling methods.
• Ability to handle structured and unstructured data, including cleaning and transformation.
• Must pass Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system proficiency or certification.
• Ability to work within the US legal and regulatory framework for sensitive patient data.

Nice to have

• Certifications or advanced coursework in data science, statistics, or analytics platforms.
• Hands-on experience with machine learning frameworks.
