What you will do

• Lead RCM business intelligence initiatives, performing data extractions and analysis across Military Health System sources.
• Conduct exploratory data analysis on large datasets to identify revenue cycle patterns, risks, and process bottlenecks.
• Design interactive dashboards in Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik Sense to visualize cost-recovery, audits, and denial metrics.
• Build predictive and machine learning models using Python, R, SQL, or SAS to inform operational decision-making.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to vet analytic findings and track financial benefits-realization.
• Author executive briefings, assessment reports, and SOPs tailored for senior military and civilian audiences.

Requirements

• Eligibility for DoD Public Trust clearance is mandatory.
• Strong understanding of healthcare revenue-cycle concepts, including charge capture, coding, billing, and reimbursement.
• Proficiency with EHR systems, specifically Oracle/Cerner MHS GENESIS (CPAM).
• Advanced skills in SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau.
• Experience with Cerner Command Language (CCL) and Discern Analytics for reporting.
• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Finance, or a related field.

Nice to have

• 5+ years of RCM analytics experience, preferably within the DoD or a large integrated-delivery network.
• Master's degree in a relevant field.
• Certifications such as HFMA CRCR, AHIMA RHIA/RHIT, CPC, or CBIP.
• Experience working in Agile or hybrid-waterfall consulting environments.
