What you will do

• Define and ship end-to-end patient experiences primarily for iOS and Android apps and occasionally for the web.
• Develop rapid prototypes using Figma, code, and AI tools to communicate ideas effectively.
• Lead the design of commerce flows, including refills, subscriptions, and account management.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering through the entire lifecycle, from exploration through QA and production.
• Conduct user research with providers and patients to ground design decisions in real user needs.
• Optimize app store presence and growth strategies to increase patient adoption.

Requirements

• 5+ years of product design experience with a portfolio of real, shipped work.
• Proven track record of shipping polished, consumer-facing mobile apps, preferably in e-commerce.
• Strong ability to move between strategy, systems thinking, and pixel-perfect execution.
• Proactive use of AI tools to improve the quality and speed of the design workflow.
• Must be based in Canada (Toronto, ON or Ottawa, ON).

Nice to have

• Experience designing mobile apps specifically in the healthcare or wellness space.
• Background in diagnostics, clinical products, or regulated consumer experiences.
• Public design artifacts, side projects, prototypes, or open-source contributions.
