What you will do

• Perform accuracy checks on dispensed medicines, ensuring compliance with legal, operational, and safety standards.
• Support the end-to-end dispensing process to verify correct medicine preparation for patient delivery.
• Maintain accurate prescription records and promptly report any discrepancies.
• Train and mentor junior colleagues to encourage a culture of safety and quality.
• Keep up to date with professional development and industry best practice guidance.
• Collaborate with the wider pharmacy team to resolve queries and ensure exceptional patient service.

Requirements

• Hold a Level 3 NVQ in Pharmacy Services (ACT) or equivalent ACT qualification.
• Registered as a Pharmacy Technician with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
• Significant experience in a pharmacy setting with a proven record in accuracy checking.
• Strong knowledge of pharmacy regulations, policies, and standard operating procedures.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
