What you will do

• Develop the core language learning platform using disciplined agentic workflows: plan, decompose, implement, test, and ship.
• Utilize Claude Code as a primary tool for production-grade AI-augmented development.
• Build reusable agent skills, hooks, and guardrails to raise the team-wide engineering baseline.
• Design evaluation harnesses to catch regressions and measure AI-assisted velocity.
• Serve as a technical resource for AI-augmented workflows, sharing playbooks and patterns with the broader engineering team.
• Collaborate with product managers, front-end developers, and linguists in a cross-functional environment.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States.
• Strong proficiency in Ruby and Ruby on Rails, with working knowledge of Python and Go.
• Demonstrated experience shipping production code using Claude Code and agentic coding tools.
• Experience building and coordinating multi-agent workflows, including RAG systems and MCP servers.
• Ability to author and maintain AI-navigable context documents (e.g., CLAUDE.md, architecture maps).
• Expertise in disciplined prompt engineering and a security-first mindset regarding AI workflows.
