TL;DR

Forward Deployed Engineer (Agentic AI): Embedding with enterprise clients to design, build, and operationalize agentic AI solutions in production environments with an accent on system integration and enterprise-grade reliability. Focus on building retrieval pipelines, implementing agent orchestration, and ensuring secure, compliant deployment within complex client infrastructures.

Location: Remote or Hybrid in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Travel required (approx. 25%).

What you will do

  • Lead technical discovery and translate complex business problems into actionable agentic AI engineering deliverables.
  • Design and implement target architectures across hyperscale AI services and enterprise platforms.
  • Write production-grade code within client CI/CD and release governance frameworks.
  • Build and tune retrieval pipelines, prompt architectures, and agent orchestration systems.
  • Implement enterprise-safe agent tool execution, including audit trails and human-in-the-loop controls.
  • Develop evaluation suites to monitor for hallucinations, regressions, and output drift in production.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of professional engineering experience in production systems.
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience shipping AI or machine learning systems into production.
  • Proven track record working directly with Fortune 500 or Global 2000 enterprise clients.
  • Fluency in Python and at least one additional enterprise language (TypeScript, Java, Go, C#, or Scala).
  • Deep understanding of ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, ServiceNow, etc.) and enterprise data modeling.
  • Strong consultative skills with the ability to communicate effectively with both engineering and C-level stakeholders.

Nice to have

  • Direct experience with SAP or Oracle EBS.
  • Prior experience as a Forward Deployed Engineer or Applied AI Engineer at an AI lab or systems integrator.
  • Experience with major agentic AI platforms like AWS Bedrock, Azure AI, or Google Vertex AI.
