What you will do

• Develop technical plans and documentation for AV, lighting, LED, projection, and interactive installations.
• Create equipment lists and system diagrams to translate creative ideas into technical reality.
• Manage technical budgets, logistics, and run-of-show requirements in collaboration with producers.
• Source and lead AV vendors and technical crews through load-in, show operations, and strike.
• Integrate immersive technologies, real-time graphics, and media servers into live environments.
• Lead R&D and testing processes to mitigate technical risks before show day.

Requirements

• 5–8+ years of technical production experience in experiential, live events, or broadcast environments.
• Deep knowledge of audio, video, LED, lighting systems, and projection mapping.
• Experience managing multi-day productions and leading freelance technical crews.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex systems efficiently under pressure.
• Must be based in New York, NY.
• Not eligible for sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Experience in sports, entertainment, or brand-driven experiential work.
• Familiarity with Vectorworks, Unreal Engine, TouchDesigner, Disguise, or Pixera.
