TL;DR

Event Manager (Fixed Income Events): Responsible for the full operational delivery of flagship global industry events for structured finance and private credit with an accent on budget management, supplier negotiation, and end-to-end execution. Focus on coordinating large-scale physical and virtual conferences, managing international risk policies, and optimizing profit margins.

Location: London (Hybrid, 50% onsite)

What you will do

  • Manage full end-to-end delivery of global B2B conferences, including flagship events in Miami.
  • Source, negotiate, and contract with venue and platform suppliers.
  • Oversee budgets, process invoices, and reconcile balance sheets to meet profit targets.
  • Coordinate staffing plans, travel, and accommodation for event teams.
  • Develop risk and security plans for international events.
  • Liaise with clients regarding submission materials and venue logistics.

Requirements

  • Solid experience in B2B event operations and global conference delivery, specifically in the US.
  • Experience managing large-scale conferences, ideally with 50+ exhibitors.
  • Proven track record in budget control and supplier contracting within a corporate environment.
  • Knowledge of international risk policies such as VAT, anti-bribery, and trade sanctions.
  • Strong multi-tasking skills and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Location: Must be based in London to support a hybrid model (50% onsite)

Nice to have

  • Proficiency with digital platforms, specifically CVENT and Swapcard.
  • First Aid qualification or IOSH Managing Safety Certificate.
