Vue/Nuxt.js And Backend Developer (AR): Developing a CMS & CRM platform for city tours using WebAR technologies with an accent on creating stunning frontend interfaces and integrating CMS data via APIs. Focus on implementing the transition to web-based AR and mentoring existing Unity developers in JS technologies.

Location: Distributed (Global/Europe); Relocation to Berlin, Germany is supported but not required.

What you will do

• Create high-performance, visually stunning frontend interfaces for web-based applications.
• Implement UI components, integrating mapping engines and CMS data via APIs.
• Define technical specifications and requirements in collaboration with the team.
• Perform cross-browser and cross-OS testing to ensure optimum rendering and compatibility.
• Configure deployment for staging and production environments and maintain technical documentation.
• Collaborate with designers to explore and integrate emerging AR technologies and industry trends.

Requirements

• 4+ years of professional experience with JavaScript.
• Proven expertise in Vue/Nuxt.js with at least one published, live project.
• Deep understanding of isomorphic web applications, HTML5 semantics, and CSS3 layout models.
• Strong focus on UX, usability, and pixel-perfect design.
• Effective communication skills and a willingness to mentor Unity developers.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Experience with Three.js for interactive 3D objects and animations.
• Proficiency with SVG, Canvas elements, and TypeScript.
• Server-side JS experience with Node.js, API design, and database management.
• Experience with Google Maps WebGL API.
