Senior Fullstack Engineer (AdTech)

TL;DR

Senior Fullstack Engineer (Node.js/React): Designing and building high-performance, scalable AdTech solutions for a Retail Media ecosystem with an accent on clean architecture, data performance, and user-centric development. Focus on developing Node.js microservices, implementing advanced React interfaces, and optimizing high-throughput data systems.

Location: Must be based in Germany. Hybrid setup with regular team anchor days at the office in Cologne.

What you will do

• Develop and optimize Node.js/TypeScript-based microservices focusing on performance and scalability.
• Build and maintain React applications using Next.js and Material-UI with complex form logic.
• Integrate and optimize high-throughput data systems using MongoDB, Redis, and Algolia for real-time ad delivery.
• Implement reliable distributed message queuing using BullMQ and RabbitMQ.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, and Analytics teams to deliver end-to-end Retail Media features.
• Contribute to architectural decisions to enhance system maintainability and reliability.

Requirements

• Strong professional experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, and React.
• Proven track record of building scalable microservices and frontend applications in cloud-native environments.
• Must be based in Germany to align with remote work policies.
• Experience integrating AI into production systems and shipping AI-powered features.
• Proficiency in working within Agile/Scrum teams.

Nice to have

• Experience with AdTech or Retail Media platforms such as Kevel, Google Ad Manager, CitrusAd, or TopSort.
